Personal Top 40 Disco Songs

The songs below are 40 of my favorite disco songs, mostly from the 1973-1979 era, when I was most likely to go out dancing. Although I placed them in a top 40 order, there is really not much difference in how I feel about any of them; I like them pretty much equally.

Technically, the songs before about 1974 were not classified as "disco" at the time. We simply called them "bar music" back in the early 70s.

Additionally, below the top 40 are more than 100 other songs that could just have easily have made this list.
