Edna Rozella (Ewoldsen) Skinner, 1902 — 1979

NEW LONDON — Mrs. Edna Rozella Skinner, 77, New London, died Wednesday evening, January 17, in Burlington Medical center.

She was born January 4, 1902, in Clark county, the daughter of Martin and Rozella Woods Ewoldsen. She married Earl Skinner July 15,1922, at Trenton, Missouri.

She graduated from Iowa Wesleyan college, Mt. Pleasant, and taught school for 33 years, many of them here.

She was a member of the New London United Methodist church.

Surviving: The husband; daughter, Clema Mapes, Ft. Madison; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Dean Hill, Osceola; and five brothers, Pearl and Andrew Ewoldsen, both of Osceola, Herman Ewoldsen, Woodburn, Ross Ewoldsen, Duluth, Minnesota, and Wilbert Ewoldsen, Portland, Oregon.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Sunday, Elliott Chapel here, Reverend Arthur Brent; Burge cemetery. A memorial to the United Methodist church has been established
